随着人口红利的消失和环保意识的提高,我国传统出口企业在全球市场上逐渐丧失低成本竞争优势,大量的出口企业面临着利润越来越薄的窘境。根据《进出口经理人》发表的《2019年外贸企业生存现状调查报告》显示:“成本上升”、“国际市场需求减弱、订单减少”、和“创新研发能力不足”一直是影响企业出口的前三大因素。2017年之前,“国际市场需求减弱、订单减少”减少一直排第一位;但从2017年开始,“成本上升”成为了影响外贸出口的最大因素。降低成本的诉求正受到国家的高度关注,减费让利政策的不断出台,

与此同时,在国家财税、金融、贸易便利化等政策的强力支持下,我国对外贸易企业自身也悄然发生着变化:

通过高质量(产品、技术、管理等)发展,由内而外化解成本压力;

打造自有品牌;

优化对“一带一路”沿线国等国际市场的布局;

加快在跨境电商等新业态里的布局。

总之,企业越接近贸易的本质,就越有竞争实力。

2001年我国加入世界贸易组织(WTO)至今,已经有将近20年的时间。前10年,外贸人意气风发,“中国制造”红遍全球;后10年,外贸人经历了百般坎坷。如今,美国让贸易环境更加恶化,但“一带一路”、跨境电商等新业态正在重塑另一个贸易新格局。面对新的挑战和机遇,传统外贸企业该如何结合自身特点,调整策略,走出困境,实现贸易增长?

考题:

请调查并研究某成熟行业中的外贸企业,了解该公司近年来外销订单的销售和利润情况,以该公司国际市场负责人的身份,针对如何提高海外销售额和外销订单利润率,向相关领导做一个汇报,提出可行的应对策略。

请按以下要求准备你的PPT演讲:

1. 采用全英文演讲,时间控制在10分钟;

2. 三名团队成员都必须参与演讲。

(注:1. 建议选取真实公司,可通过企业调研或二手数据搜集,梳理该公司相关案例或数据;2. 演讲内容属于创意提案,但同时要注意商业上的可行性;3.演讲内容和材料不可体现学校名称等敏感信息。)

Read the following material and prepare for your presentation according to the following requirements.

With the disappearance of demographic dividend and the enhancement of environmental awareness, China's traditional export enterprises have gradually lost their low-cost competitive advantages in the global market. A large number of export enterprises are facing the dilemma of thinner and thinner profits. According to a survey report on the current situation of foreign trade enterprises in 2019 published by Import and Export Manager, "rising costs", "weak international market demand, decreased orders" and "insufficient innovation and R& D capacity" have been the top three factors affecting the export of enterprises. Before 2017, "weak international market demand and decreased orders" ranked first. But since 2017, "rising costs" have become the biggest factor affecting exports. The appeal of cost reduction has been highly concerned by the country, and the policy of fee reduction and profit concession has been continuously introduced.

At the same time, with the strong support of the national fiscal and taxation policies, financial policies and trade facilitation policies, China's foreign trade enterprises are quietly changing themselves:

Resolving the cost pressure through high-quality development (product, technology, and management).

Building one's own brand.

Optimizing the layout of international markets such as countries along the route of "One Belt And One Road".

Accelerating the development of cross-border e-commerce and other new forms of business.

In short, the closer an enterprise is to the nature of trade, the more competitive it will be.

It has been nearly 20 years since China joined the world trade organization (WTO) in 2001.In the first 10 years, foreign trade professionals were full of vigor and vitality, and "Made in China" became popular all over the world. In the past 10 years, foreign trade people experienced a variety of ups and downs. Today, the United States government has made the trade environment worse, but new formats such as Belt and Road Initiative and cross-border e-commerce are reshaping international trade. Faced with new challenges and opportunities, how should traditional foreign trade enterprises, based oni their own characteristics, adjust strategies, get out of difficulties, and achieve trade growth?

Task and Requirements

Please make a research on an export-oriented company in a mature industry, and get to know the sales and profits of its exportation in recent years. Supposing you are in charge of the international market of this company, please make a presentation to relevant leaders on how to improve the sales and profit margin of the exportation business, and put forward some feasible countermeasures in your proposal.

Please deliver your PPT presentation according to the following requirements.

1. The presentation should be done in English and finished within 10 minutes.

2. All three members of your team must participate in the presentation section.

(Note: 1. It is suggested that you select a real company, sort out and report the relevant cases or data about the company based on a field survey or some second-hand data; 2. The presentation content is just a PROPOSAL to present your creative ideas instead of a detailed action plan. Still, the proposal must be commercially viable. 3. The presentation and PPT content should not include such sensitive information as colleges' names.)

Process

1. Presentation: Contestants deliver presentations in English. (10 minutes)

2. Q&A: Contestants answer questions raised by judges in English. (no more than 5 minutes)
